October 30, 2008 ================ [Account Hacking] IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! We have several reports of a user that gained access to user accounts and/or payment processor accounts! The name of this user is won562252@gmail.com This person may have either hacked the database of another PTC site/forum you are a member of OR be even the owner of a new site/forum! Please follow the steps outlined below to avoid being hacked: * NEVER USE THE SAME PASSWORD ON SEVERAL SITES * Use safe (strong) passwords that are not easily hacked containing upper and lower case letters and numbers/symbols * If in doubt, change your password to a new SECURE one * Lock your account settings (7days/30days/1year) so they can not be changed! PLEASE NOTE We can NOT be held responsible in case of hacked accounts but we will try to assist you - within our powers - to try and recover payments (reclaim funds and provide all information to you). So PLEASE, be SAFE and NOT sorry! Below you will find a list of programs and browser add-ons that can manage passwords. Best regards Carsten SandraClicks Staff October 26, 2008 ================ [Phishing] Beware, for I have received phishing emails purportedly from DonkeyMails and Liberty Reserve to lure me into revealing information, or send money to crooks. They often try to fool you with a URL that looks alright when in fact, they replaces the '/' symbols with '|' symbols.
